It is important to train and educate the next generation of engineers, so they understand the challenges of the future, and can develop their own solutions to those challenges. We at Engineering for the Earth, Inc. feel that the best way to accomplish this task is by offering Scholarships which will require the engineering students to critically think about their future goals and how those goals can mesh with the goals of our Mission. Each recipient will be required to give a presentation to our Board of Directors at the end of their scholarship term. The Student will describe their own accomplishments for that year, and how those accomplishments will help to further our Mission.
Engineering for the Earth, Inc. offers two levels of scholarships, a Graduate Scholarship and an Undergraduate Scholarship
We are proud to announce our Fall 2010 Scholarship winners:
Margaret Cook, University of Texas at Austin
Bryan Canavan, Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University
Our organization offers grants to research and develop solutions to
problems in the fields of sustainable technology and renewable
energies. The availability of grants depends on our annual support
from members and guests such as yourself.
Each year, Engineering for the Earth (E4E) offers a one-year, one-time scholarship award of $1,000. To learn about E4E's graduate level scholarship, and to print out an application, please click here .
